Cardinal’s new 825-CBW for continuous bulk weighing of bulk commodities in a shipping or receiving installation featuring customer and product identification, single or multiple loading, and ship or receive mode. The control package includes Cardinal’s 825 Spectrum weight indicator; software package designed for continuous bulk weighing; and tape printer.

The display features include a 640 x 480 pixel color backlit interactive touch screen LCD; color-coded QWERTY keyboard for data entry; pictorial representation of the bulk weigher and gates; target weight to be filled; total drafts required; navigation keys combine with intuitive menus; and multiple language selection. Operational features are ship or receive selection; single loading (used for set-up and loading of only one vehicle); multiple loading (used for set-up and loading of unit trains); and presets (Target Weight, Draft Size or Number of Drafts, Customer Identification and Next, used when putting in multiple cars).

The new No-Spill Fuel Cans from Forestry Suppliers, Inc. include self-venting/self-sealing, fast flow rate of 3 GPM, thumb-button flow control, stainless steel filter screen and quart and liter markings molded in for easy reference. Cans are semi-translucent to see fuel level, are designed to empty completely without tilting or shaking and have a 7/8-inch funnel spout.

A Friend on Site

Farm Works Software introduces Site Mate, which installs to any Windows mobile computer to GPS map field boundaries, lines or points. If mapping a field boundary, Site Mate will calculate the number of acres or square feet. Site Mate can be used for scouting by logging attributes. Attribute examples include the type of weed, a count (or severity), date, a digital image from a camera and notes. Site Mate also has provides soil sampling tools for creating grids, target points, and 3D navigation.
