MGH Equipment Named Exclusive US Antonio Carraro Distributor

As of March 1, 2012 MGH Equipment LLC became the exclusive distributor for Antonio Carraro Tractors and Parts for the United States and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. GGT Gestion Gabriel Thibault, Inc. is the distributor for the rest of Canada.

Oliver Stamm, president of the previous distributor Antonio Carraro America, sent out an email to all US and Canada Antonio Carraro Dealers with the following information on Monday, February 27th:

"As of March 1st, 2012 we kindly ask you to contact the above distributors responsible for your area for any orders for spare parts, tractors and other support as warranty claims, service questions and parts support. We are confident that you will appreciate the new structure of Antonio Carraro in North America, assuring the best possible support to you as our valued Antonio Carraro dealer. Again I would like to thank you for your patience and support during the phase of reorganization and I'm looking forward to a bright and successful future of Antonio Carraro products in North America."

MGH Equipment LLC is a new company created to handle the distribution and support of Antonio Carraro Tractors in the US and western Canada. The owners, Greg and Mary Hamilton, also own and currently run Hamilton Farm Equipment Center, Inc.

Hamilton Farm Equipment Center is located in Okanogan, WA. It is a family owned, fourth generation business, and has served the communities of North Central Washington since 1934. HFEC started out as a machine shop (Graves Machine Shop - a partnership between brother-in-laws George Graves and Earl Hamilton) and has continually evolved to meet their customer's needs.

The business was incorporated as Hamilton Farm Equipment Center in 1949 with Earl and Jack Hamilton (2nd generation) and Ralph Parks (Jack's cousin) as owners. Their first tractor line was Ferguson. HFEC now sells and services farm equipment (John Deere, Antonio Carraro and Slimline are the main lines), lawn and garden equipment (JD, Echo and Honda Power Products), and Polaris recreational products (ATVs, Utility Vehicles and Snowmobiles). Hamiltons have an Irrigation Department and a Rental Department also. In February of 2009, they purchased Tverberg Valley Parts (the Okanogan NAPA Dealer) and moved the NAPA business into their main building.

Hamilton Farm Equipment Center has been an Antonio Carraro Dealer since 1991 and is the oldest and largest retailer of Carraro Tractors in North America.

When Antonio Carraro SPA asked us to be their distributor and represent them in the United States, Greg and Mary decided to start a new company, MGH Equipment LLC, for this purpose. Greg said, "We wanted to set up a separate company to focus its efforts on taking care of the Carraro dealers across the United States and western Canada."

MGH Equipment will continue to have Don Broeckert handle Dealer parts and service requests as he has for the last 11 years as an employee of Antonio Carraro America. His knowledge of Antonio Carraro Tractors and contacts within Italy and his long relationship with US dealers will be invaluable to the transition to a new distributor. He will be assisted by Wayne Turner, former HFEC service manager, in handling parts and service questions. Tractor sales will be handled by Kevin Oyler, Conor Hamilton, and Greg Hamilton. All parts and tractors will be warehoused and distributed from Okanogan, Washington.

"After 21 years as an Antonio Carraro Dealer, we are extremely pleased to be a part of the growth of this tractor line outside of our little corner of the world", Greg commented. "The Antonio Carraro Tractors fit many niche markets with their high horsepower, low and narrow profile and low center of gravity, incredible traction and easy reversibility."
