New England Grows Announces Promotion & Appointments of Key Staff Members


New England Grows, the premier horticultural trade exposition and educational conference in the Northeast, is pleased to introduce a collection of new team members. Led by the executive director, M. Virginia Wood, the expanding team is poised for a busy year leading up to New England Grows, scheduled for February 5-7, 2014, in Boston.
Three new hires have joined the seasoned New England Grows staff and another was recently promoted.
Jennifer McPhee, conference and trade show manager, is a familiar face returning to the Grows staff after spending the last 12 years running her own event management business. McPhee began her career with New England Grows in 1993 and was instrumental in the development of the event over the course of its first 10 years.  "I'm thrilled to be collaborating on the expansion of the New England Grows experience with this great team of professionals," she said. Carrie Martin was recently promoted to registration and certification manager on the New England Grows team. Martin has been instrumental in streamlining the online registration and CEU tracking systems at New England Grows.
