BioSafe Systems announced the hiring of Jarod Huck as Florida/Georgia territory manager for the agrichemical division, supporting the crop protection, water treatment and food safety business segments. Based in Fort Pierce, Fla., Huck will spearhead sales goals to establish consistent, direct communication with strategic distribution partners, growers/packers and market influencers.
In his role, Huck is charged with increasing the market penetration and sales of BioSafe's crop protection, water treatment and food safety solutions. He will focus his efforts on establishing strong, lasting relationships with strategic distribution partners and providing technical support to existing customers, while establishing relationships with new customers through his diverse and extensive network of relationships from his in-depth background in the Southeast agriculture industry.
Huck says, "I am excited to join the BioSafe team because I was looking for a chance to be back on local farms working with growers, packers and distributors. I appreciate the strides BioSafe Systems has taken to provide unique, powerful and time-tested solutions to growers, while providing reduced-risk and responsible chemistries to help manage plant and soil pathogens, as well as its rapidly growing food safety product line."
Huck graduated from the University of Florida with a master's degree in agribusiness and a bachelor's degree in agricultural operations management. Prior to joining BioSafe's team, he honed his experience in the agriculture industry working at Alderman Farms as food safety manager and, most recently, at Pero Family Farms working with corporate customers as a client services manager. His wide range of experiences and responsibilities provide BioSafe with an invaluable member of its sales team.
