Massey Ferguson Introduces High-Clearance Utility Tractor
Massey Ferguson introduced a high-clearance (HC) utility tractor to meet the needs of specialty crop growers throughout Central California and other specialty crop regions of North America. The Massey Ferguson 4610M High-Clearance Utility Tractor delivers the crop clearance growers need to care for high-value crops such as berries, broccoli, potatoes, tobacco and many other types of produce without damaging the crop. The tractor is available through Massey Ferguson dealers and will be configured to fit the needs of each individual operation.
USDA Announces $1.35 million to Support Data-Driven Farm Management Practices
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) announced $1.35 million in available funding to provide agricultural producers with training and data to strengthen their business management skills. Funding is made through NIFA’s Farm Business Management and Benchmarking (FBMB) Competitive Grants Program, authorized by the 2014 Farm Bill.
Dramm Updates Coldfogger Sprayer
Dramm has updated its Coldfogger Targeted Low Volume Sprayer to the new AR model. This version offers a more durable pump that allows for the use of corrosive chemistries. The pump features corrosion resistant components and doesn’t require some of the machinations of the previous pump. It’s available in 20-gallon models and allows for the introduction of a 50-gallon model.
