Thyme Guard Now Available in California
Andaman Ag announced the availability of Thyme Guard in California, a broad spectrum and organic bactericide, fungicide and insecticide. The product is now available direct or through distributors Buttonwillow Warehouse Company and Ag Unlimited. Thyme Guard can be used on a regular basis alone or on rotation with other fungicides on all crops before harvest or during postharvest. It is also biodegradable and doesn’t leave toxic residue.
Growers Supply to Host Two Workshops
Growers Supply will be hosting two controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) hands-on workshops September 13 to 15 at the company’s CEA Learning Center West in Dyersville, Iowa and October 12 to 14 at CEA Learning Center East in South Windsor, Connecticut. Growers Supply experts and industry specialists will educate attendees on trends and innovations in CEA such as hydroponics, aquaponics and microgreen production.
OEFFA to Help Ohio Invest in Future of Agriculture
The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) announced its new Begin Farming Program, which will provide new farmers in Ohio the support they need to understand what it takes to get into farming and grow their businesses. The program is funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program (BFRDP).
