Three-Point Disc Harrows
Bush Hog’s D Series line of three-point disc harrows is designed to expand your tractor’s productivity potential. The three disc harrow series (including 12 models) are designed to fit tractors from 35 to 95 hp. The disc harrows begin with all-welded, heavy-duty square tube steel frames. Added to these frames are reinforced bearing hangers, high-carbon steel gang axles and heat-treated, notched disc blades. Easy-to-adjust front and rear gangs allow you to quickly change from light tilling to more aggressive cutting action by simply pulling a pin and repositioning the gangs. Variable blade spacings are available. With cutting widths from 60 to 118 inches, the Bush Hog disc harrows are available in the most popular tractor colors.
John Deere introduced the R4030 and R4038 self-propelled sprayers. The 800-gallon R4030 replaces the 4730 model, and the 1,000-gallon R4038 replaces the 4830. They feature PowerTech Plus PSS Final Tier 4 engines (280 hp, 6.8-liter; 310 hp, 9-liter) with a four-wheel hydrostatic drive. Both sprayers have redesigned flat-fold booms in widths up to 120 feet, improved weight distribution, cruise control and CommandView II cab with fully integrated GreenStar 3 2630 display. They can be converted to dry nutrient applicators by installing the 200-cubic-foot New Leader dry spinner spreader.
The cab offers a wider side door opening for easier access, integrated machine controls and more glass for greater visibility. The chassis sits on a dual-strut independent wheel air-ride suspension that provides a smooth, stable ride at higher speeds. Auto air spring leveling keeps the chassis level at all times, including on uneven terrain and as the spray tank empties.
The sprayers also come Direct Injection Ready. This option provides the flexibility to change products between crops and manage chemical risk by allowing the operator to carry up to 135 gallons of up to two raw chemicals outside of the primary solution tank. Integrated technologies that are available include AutoTrac, BoomTrac Pro, John Deere Section Control, JDLink, John Deere Mobile Weather and AgLogic.
