The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label verifies that the product’s amount of renewable biobased ingredients meets or exceeds levels set by USDA. This label assures a consumer that the product contains a verified amount of renewable biological ingredients (referred to as biobased content). With 86% renewable organic carbon, NutriRoot surpassed the minimum required renewable carbon content of 71% to qualify. Consumers can trust the label to mean what it says because manufacturer’s claims concerning the biobased content are third-party certified and strictly monitored by the USDA.
“The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for NutriRoot shows Arborjet’s passion for developing products that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability,” said Kristin Nikodemski,Product Marketing Manager, Arborjet.
NutriRoot 2-2-3 Liquid Soil Applied Fertilizer is a blend of essential minerals, seaweed extract, humic acid, surfactants, and humectants supplying a single product to reduce watering, accelerate root growth, and improve transplant survival of trees, shrubs, and lawns. NutriRoot combines all of these components into one solution, enabling soil to pull water from the air into the root zone, extending watering intervals, and reducing run-off, while supporting microbiology and stimulating root growth.
“We are pleased that Arborjet’s NutriRoot has earned the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label,” said Ron Buckhalt, USDA BioPreferred Program Manager. “Biobased products add value to renewable agriculture commodities, create jobs in rural communities and help our nation decrease its reliance on foreign-sourced and non-renewable petroleum.”
NutriRoot may be applied before and/or during planting, growing, and winterizing. NutriRoot is available in several sizes, including 8 fl. oz., 32 fl. oz., 32 fl. oz. hose end sprayer, 1 gallon, and 30 gallon concentrates.
