Compact Cat

Bobcat Co. has added four four-wheel drive models to its compact tractor line: the CT335, CT440, CT445 and CT450. Each has a Tier IV diesel engine, hydrostatic transmission and three travel speeds. Engine power ranges from 38 to 50 hp. Features include an independent PTO that can be engaged while the tractor is in motion, a remote three-point hitch adjustment lever on the back of the machine, and a Bob-Tach quick-attachment mounting system for the front-end loader. These tractors are available in three different packages. The economy package has a three-point implement hitch with PTO. The standard package includes the three-point hitch, PTO and a loader joystick and control valve. The standard package with cab has all of the features of the standard package with an enclosed cab.

Mustang Upgrades

Mustang has upgraded three compact track loader models. Models MTL16, MTL20 and MTL25 have become models MTL316, MTL320 and MTL325. These three units have been updated to meet Tier III engine emissions regulations and engine horsepower now ranges from 66 to 92 hp. They can also now travel up to 7.5 mph in high speed. Other improvements include a standard foot throttle, additional switches on the control handle and standard proportional auxiliary hydraulics controlled by a thumb switch.

Flip-Over Disc

Worksaver’s FOD-16 flip-over disc, for use in gardens or orchards, is designed to flip over for easy transport. It has a 5-foot operating width and is equipped with eight 16-inch notched disc blades and a rectangular steel frame that holds three concrete blocks for added weight and better soil penetration. To provide optimum cutting, the disc gangs are mounted at a 20-degree angle. Other features include a rear tab for mounting a drag harrow attachment, 4-inch-by-12-inch pneumatic tires and cast-iron bearings with grease zerks. This 225-pound attachment measures 53 inches wide by 35 inches high and has a 70-inch long tongue. Attach it to a garden tractor or ATV with a minimum 16 hp or 250cc engine.
