World Ag Expo, held February 10-12 in Tulare, Calif., is the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition, with 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, over 1,600 exhibitors and an estimated 100,000 attendees.
The 2009 World Ag Expo will feature irrigation seminars on Thursday, February 12. Organized by the Irrigation Association and the International Center for Water Technology at California State University, Fresno, these sessions will highlight the latest in irrigation and water use technology. All seminars are free with paid admission to World Ag Expo and are located in the Expo Seminar Center off Median Street, between P and Q Streets.
The New Products Pavilion showcases the Top Ten New Products. Take a virtual tour of the show grounds online, plan your route and print your personalized schedule. Select from more than 40 daily agriculture seminars on the grounds or take farm and agribusiness tours off the grounds. In all, come away with the knowledge you need to make your operation more productive and profitable.
International trade seminars aimed at helping farmers, ranchers and other agribusiness professionals will be featured on Tuesday, February 10, organized by the Center for International Trade Development and the California Department of Food and Agriculture. All World Ag Expo seminars are free with paid admission. The Fresno Center for International Trade Development’s trade symposium is focused on preparing you for the future in an international, agricultural marketplace. Seminars will explore California’s agricultural vision, biomass energy production and sustainability, U.S. free trade agreements and the competitive outlook, export challenges for organic produce and the effect the cargo container shortage is having on U.S. trade. These experts are here to tell your company what it can do to prepare for today’s global markets. Seminars will take place in the Expo Seminar Center.
Cost is $12 for general admission at the gate; $10 discounted admission for those who preregister online before Monday, February 9.
