Level It Down

DoMor Equipment Co. offers its new generation skid steer (SS) line of grading attachments that mount on a skid steer, newer tractors or even backhoes, and grade forward or backward due to a four-blade design. The new SSF and SHA Series grader attachments feature a lower-profile design, a new color and greater operator visibility of the material-mixing area, while still retaining the previous generation’s 4-inch tubular steel frame and .25-inch thick rolled side pans.

The grader’s new .25-inch thick steel corner bracing allows for removal of the cross supports, opening up the entire “flow-through” mixing area to the view of the operator. It can be used on a backhoe with the optional backhoe bucket attachment, and on a mini skid steer with a universal mini hitch plate.

All units feature the company’s Flo-Thru design with twin cutting edges, which create a mixing and sifting of the aggregate and fill ruts and potholes with freshly graded material.

The SS series is available in 5, 6, 7 or 8-foot widths, with two types of fixed blades, as well as hydraulic and manually adjustable blades.

Irrigation Compatibility

Valley Irrigation has expanded its Valley GPS product line. Valley GPS Guidance for corners and linear irrigation equipment is now compatible with both John Deere Starfire and Trimble GPS products.

Compatibility with Trimble GPS base stations will make conversions from buried wire to Valley GPS Guidance easier, as it doesn’t require the same labor and maintenance as buried wire. Another advantage of GPS Guidance is that installations are possible on rented or leased property without the commitment of a buried wire.
