NOFA Vermont announced the 2015 Summer Workshop Series that provides everyone from the beginning gardener to the experienced organic farmer with the tools and information for successful organic growing.  Executive Director Enid Wonnacott noted, “The Summer On-Farm Workshops provide the opportunity for farmers, gardeners and homesteaders in Vermont to come together and share their knowledge with others, building an important learning community.”

Some workshops that are intended for commercial vegetable, fruit, dairy and livestock producers may be appropriate for experienced gardeners and homesteaders. Registration for workshops and socials begins June 15.

Pre-registration is requested for all socials in order to enable NOFA to plan how much food to make. Although the majority of workshops do not require pre-registration, there are some workshops that have space limitations and pre-registration is required.
